Cooking or Baking?

Y’all, I like to cook but I love to bake.
More times than not I change recipes to make them my own. I can’t tell you exactly how I change them because oftentimes I don’t remember. I only remember how good they were.
My two go-to desserts have been gluten free with no processed sugar.
They are made with almond flour and coconut sugar instead.
The coconut sugar is surprisingly really good in these recipes. I believe it can act much like brown sugar as its dark in color. It doesn’t give a coconut taste at all and it doesn’t taste like sugar. It’s interesting. It’s low glycemic which is awesome.
The two recipes I use are:
Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Blondies

I love both of these recipes but my favorite are the blondies. The reasons why I like the blondies better are that the dough doesn’t have to refrigerate for an hour like the cookies and the blondies cook in 15 minutes! After they cool down for about 5-10 minutes you can eat them! Yum Yum! Another reason I like the blondies is that the recipe uses HALF the amount of almond flour than the cookies it makes them “healthier” and not as expensive. Where I live, a small bag of almond flour is $9. I can make cookies twice with that amount or I can make the blondies at least four times, if not more, with the same amount and the deliciousness is equal in my opinion.

P.S

I have used half butter and half coconut oil in both recipes and they were still really good. Buying the bars of chocolate and making them into chunks makes the cookies way better than if you were to use regular chips.

Fun fact: A monkey was once tried and convicted for smoking a cigarette in South Bend, Indiana. (WHAT!?)
